In my school we are doing beauty and the beast, and I'm auditioning for belle. What song do you think would show off my voice best? I t can be any song, from the musical or not|||I agree, Reflection is an amazing song. Plus it would blow them away. It's on Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" album.|||It really shows who you are if you sing a song that represents you. Because expecially everyone will sing something from the play. But if you are an alto sing high etc. etc. though you may also want to choose your song around the charector of belle she is nice and humble so you want to make the judges look at you and say "you really remind me of belle"|||Sing a song that will blow they away! If you don't know which one, sing a few for your family and let them tell you which one to use. If you can, use a song that you know the words to (singing without music in your hand will empress people,) and move around like your doing it in a show.

What album should I listen to by Belle & Sebastian?
So I already listened to 'If You're Feeling Sinister', great album btw. Anywho, what is the order I should listen to the rest of their albums or just what album of theirs should I listen to next?|||I really like The Life Pursuit|||I know this is subjective, but the answer voted the best is insane. Belle and Sebastian started off being brilliant and gradually declined to the point where they became a shadow of their former selves. I am 38 Weeks pregnant.and last night i had belle pain for close to two hours,from my lower belle to my waist?
That ended with a serious diarrhea.My belle was very hard during that period and the whole night.Now i feel it like very heavy to carry and still litle pain on my back,contractions,and feel week.no water breakage but yellow fluid like urine.What could this be pls?my next visit is on friday.|||You could be in the early stages of labour. How can you be sure that your waters have not broken if you are leaking fluid, I wonder. Probably best to call your midwife and ask her to come in and check you today, or if she thinks you should get to the hospital to be checked. They can take a swab to check if the fluid you are losing is amniotic fluid, and if it is then you shouldn't wait until Friday. Once waters have broken, infection can set in easily, so you would need to be monitored closely.|||I think you should call your doctor and let him/her know that you are experiencing early labor pains. It does not mean you could have the baby before your next visit, but I would suggest you keep a diary of what you are going through and bring it with you to your next doctor's visit. It is possible that you could have this baby early. Can't really predict mother nature.|||You need to call the doctor, it sounds like you are going into labor. Dont worry, you're not going to have the baby on your own! Just call to get checked and make sure.|||It could be braxton hicks, practise contractions basically, I had them quite strong for two weeks before my daughter was born, and she was my second, i was convinced i was going into labour, my midwife assured me i wasn't. sounds like your body is getting ready. How do I act like Belle? It is not a Musical but I really want the part. I'm in Middle School?
I'm in 8th Grade and I was the White Rabbit 2 years ago in Alice in Wonderland, and last year I was the Lion in the Wizard of Oz. I think those are really good parts for my age, but this year, I want the lead. I hope I don't sound arrogant, but i'm feeling it this year! :) Thank you very much for any impute!|||Well, as someone who has had many lead roles in school plays, i say the best thing you can do is be as confident in the audition as possible. Exaggerate your words and speak loudly and clearly, looking the teachers (or whoever is deciding who gets the parts) in the eye frequently. Try to memorise the line coming up so you can say it without looking at the sheet (to impress them with your good memory).
If you are doing an audition with other people than make sure you don't just read the script, but act as if you were performing it in front of a live audience and interact with them.
Don't mess with your hair, hands, nails etc. or look at the floor or shuffle your feet, anything that makes you look nervous and disliking the attention as they want strong, confident, happy people to play the part.

There is a movie called The Quiet with Camille Belle. It is based off of a book, but what is the book called?
The movie is about a girl who is deaf and mute (Camille Belle) who goes to live with her aunt, uncle, and cousin. Her cousin begins to tell secrets to her because she thinks she can't hear. She tells her that her dad is sexually abusing her and she plans to kill her dad. I heard the movie is awful but I still want to read the book.|||I don't see anything at amazon.com or imdb.com that would lead anyone to think there is abook associated with this film. Nothing by that title, the alternate title ("Dot"), and nothing by the film's credited writers, Abdi Nazemian %26amp; Micah Schraft. I have a wide range, but I do better somewhat lower.|||Home|||First off, you don't usually sing from the show unless specifically asked to do so. For Belle you need to shoew that you can hit her money note so choose something that goes up to that E if possible or close to it and show that you can belt it with ease.
Try:
Part of Your World - Little Mermaid
Lord and Master - King and I
Green Finch and Linnet Bird - Sweeney Todd (but this song is difficult to sing and to play so an accompanist may have a hard time with it)
There are several songs that show her character, it's the vocal range you need to show that you can do. Honestly I think Part of Your World is the best choise. Same style in every way. It may be a half or whole note shy of Belle but it's close and maybe they'll have you sing scales to be sure you can sing the notes. Just make sure you choose the most difficult 16 bars or however many they give you (32, etc.)

There are several songs that show her character, it's the vocal range you need to show that you can do. Honestly I think Part of Your World is the best choise. Same style in every way. It may be a half or whole note shy of Belle but it's close and maybe they'll have you sing scales to be sure you can sing the notes. Just make sure you choose the most difficult 16 bars or however many they give you (32, etc.)

What do you think of the name Belle Haven Rose for a girl and Ryker Landon James for a boy?

County Sheriff Smutzer had somehow heard about Ray Lamphere’s alleged threats; he took one look at the carnage and quickly sought out the ex-handyman. Lawyer Leliter came forward to recount his tale about Gunness' will and how she feared Lamphere would kill her and her family and burn her house down.

It takes place in a small town called Josephine Falls in South Carolina and I really want to be able to convey the whole graceful, sunny, southern thing into it. B-17F-25-BO, #41-24577 "Hell's Angels" of the 358th Bomb Squadron, 303rd Bomb Group(H), 1st Bomb Division, 8th USAAF was the FIRST American aircraft to successfully complete 25 combat missions (13MAY1943).
During the War many U.S. a/c completed over 100 missions and the tour of duty for the aircrews of heavy bombers was increased from 25 missions to 30, 35, then 50 missions.|||It was one of a few planes that survived like, 25 bombing missions...the movie about it helped it's legendary status.|||During WWII if a B-17 flew 25 missions they earned enough points to come home, the Memphis Belle was the first and possibly the only one to do so. |||its a famous bomber, during WWII, it had the most successful mission rate of any plane.|||Not only did she survive a full 25 missions over Germany during WW2, but she didn't lose a single member of her crew. The loss rate of a plane, especially a bomber of the USAAF, would be around one in every ten planes. Sometimes, it was one in four or five. Very very few planes actually made it to twenty five missions, with even fewer crews doing that. |||The crew of the 'Belle' was one of first (of many) to complete the mandatory 25 mission rule to earn rotation back to the states. The losses of bombers and their aircraft in the course of the day light bombing (US bombed at day-British bombed at night) campaign were incredibly high through out the entire war. Pin point bombing often required flying well within the range of 88mm and 128mm anti-aircraft cannons over most targets as well as defending themselves against German fighter planes such as the FW190, ME109, ME110, ME163 (Komit-Rocket powered plane) and the ME262 fighters (Sparrow - 1st Operational Jet fighter).
The crew of the 'Belle' were living proof that it was possible to survive and they were used to help sell war bonds when they initially returned home, later they assumed duties as instructors in their fields and some returned to active flight status with new crews. Mostly they help to build up the morale of Americans because the darkness days of the American bombing campaign in Europe were still ahead. The raids into the deepest heart of Germany to help retard or stop German War Production was still to come. |||Memphis Belle (B-17), a USAAF Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress whose aircrew was the first in the U.S. Eighth Air Force to complete 25 missions in Europe and return to the United States.

Where is a great location to take senior pictures in around Richmond, VA other than Maymont and Belle Isle?
I'm looking for a playful and creative place maybe with tire swing or something i'm really up for any recommendations.|||Church Hill has many historic structures, especially off of Broad Street in the area of St. Patrick's Church. You can head over to the Richmond National Battlefield Park site or to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument for a good view over the city. Find the schedule for events/reenactments with the RNBPS. Especially on weekdays, the people in historical garb will get a little goofy because it is boring when the crowds are not big.
Head to The Fan for some quirky areas. First off, this is where a lot of young professionals and VCU students live at. Plenty of quirky shops and art hidden in the side streets and in the alleys. There are "pocket parks" here, where the city set up a small parcel of land for some type of park. Most have child's play sets here, so hopefully you will find what you are looking for.
I will try to think of some place else and place it here, but at this time I am drawing a blank.

Belle at a five year olds birthday?
I have been asked to portray Belle at a birthday party. I am a dancer and would like to dance with the little girls and boys. Any suggestions for songs/dances that I could do with them? It is for a five year olds.|||U can do dat song from the movie. That she dances 2.
What is the relevance of the characters of Belle, Gaston, the Beast, and Belle's father to reading?

She loves to read and alwas has her "nose stuck in a book", as sung by the townspeople. She enjoys becoming lost in the worlds that books provide her, despite being seen as odd by the townspeople.

I'm not keen on Lilian because I think it sounds very old-fashioned, but Lily, Liliana or Lila would be super cute. It seemed to me that the car was coming loose by turns 4-6 (where I was sitting) towards the end. I don't recall the car pitting for tires, and I don't know if they did a driver change. All entertainment goes there first.|||You need to talk with them to find out. But generally speaking, you don't have to always look the park. Can belle from beauty and the beast be black?
ok, so i want to try out for belle, from beauty and the beast and i am african american. i really think i can do a good job at playing her. i have a pretty voice and have been taking acting lessons for 3 years. i go to a predominantly white school so i'd be the only black girl trying out for belle. so my quiestion is, do you think race will play a factor? and do you have any tips on how to get it?|||I think race might play a factor, depending on who is doing the casting. I believe Toni Braxton played Belle for awhile on Broadway. You should go for it, no matter what! You can at least say that you tried your best. ONE broken leg is devastating to a horse. It's an extremely long and difficult recovery, IF the horse recovers at all. Two broken legs is simply a death sentence. Horses do not understand that they can't walk on those legs, and they'll keep trying to get up. They will just keep rebreaking the legs and will suffer constantly. They are very top heavy, and their legs are quite thin. With her TWO front legs broken she'd just have no way of recovering. She'd have to be lying down for months, and that's just not possible with a horse. They won't do it. Not to mention the gastrointestinal problems they'd have doing that. Horses are not meant to be lying down that way.
Not everyone is the devil. Euthanizing her was the most humane option.|||No - it's not about the money. The horse was in pain and wouldn't have survived the surgery. Any pet owner will tell you that the pet's comfort and survival chances are most important.

It doesn't necessarily mean they should all be bred, but at least there's something to fall back on in case of damage. Most owners of high-end horses like these do have insurance aginst certain injuries and losses, but the payments vary.|||Honey I VERY much doubt the insurance money was 1/10 of what she could have earned as a broodmare had she stayed sound (or even had a relistic chance of survival) Insurance companies usuallly refuse that degree of insurance.

Its always about money or there wouldnt be racing. Thankfully her owners did the right thing ,but it was a sad day.

How do I get to a good place to sit down at belle isle in richmond VA?
I have never been there before and I want to get to a place where people would be I guess the "cool" or "popular" place to go?|||Pretty much, just get there early if you are there for a concert. The area is pretty wide open with no actual seating.
Now, I've been there for events. I used to just mill around until I found who or what I was looking for. There is no "X Marks the Spot" at Belle Isle, as it is a wide open area.
You may be tempted to bring a chair or a blanket. (I know that chairs are prohibited for some events.) However, I recommend against that. If you want to be in the "cool" areas, you have to be willing to move around. If you are hauling around a bunch of junk, then you are stuck where you are at.

I am the beast in beauty and the beast, I just realized I am really in love with Belle! How do I tell her?
I am starring as the Beast in beauty and the Beast. After getting to know the person who plays Belle, I realized I loved her. It is strange how my story fits the musical. How do I tell her that I like her? And How do I find out if she likes me?|||I love the way that happens :)
It is a tricky boat to be in. Sometimes there are two shows in a production, the show that happens on stage and the show that happens off stage.
One of the magical things about theatre is the group you perform with. You start off as strangers, as rehearsals go on, you become closer, friends, companions, then when the show is over - it's like a bomb hits and everyone scatters everywhere. People say they'll keep in touch - generally they don't. Then you get involved in your next show and you start a new experience all over again. It is very parable to the story of Beauty and the Beast as both characters develop a relationship in the same way.
Be mindful that some of those relationships are as euphoric as acting itself. That being said follow what you feel, be the person that you are and act on it.
People do theatre for all different kinds of reasons, possibly the actress and your interests match. You're not going to know until you find out.
You can do this by either of the following ways:
. Having a scout, a mutual friend who you feel you can trust, to get the insight on what's going on in her life and if she has feelings for anyone.
. Doing the work yourself. Just spending more time around her, casual conversations in her dressing room, getting her to assist you with your make up, asking for her opinion on things.
. Being the secret admirer. Putting a single red rose under the windscreen wiper on her car, a nice note before an important performance. Then asking her when the time is right, "did you like the card?"
Depends on the type of person you are and which way you feel more comfortable with. All of the ones listed above were tried and tested until I found the one for me!

I love the name Elle, and pretty much all name's that incorporate it, like this one. Normally I don't care for meanings, but the meaning of Belle is ... well, it's beautiful :) And it's a part of one of my favourite names - Annabelle.
It's in my favourite girl's name combo - Serena Ivy Belle :)|||I love the name Belle. Its what i wanted to name my last daughter.Well i want to use it as a middle name Aurora Belle. However i had some complications during the birth and was on some pain killers. When we filled out her Birth cert my husband my husband decided that her middle name should be Lillianna. My resistance was low everything sounded fine. However when i healed and was no longer under the influence i was heart broken. Its Ok though shes my lil Aurora Belle and that what I call her. its a great name. And its great naming after a disney princess, we do alot of sleeping Beauty ,and Beauty and the beast, decorating and toys. They make a great nursery,and toddler,and preschool room And since shes named after a princess shes convinced she is a princess.|||It's been growing on everyone lately. Along with Bella, Isabella and all its friends. Amazing what hearing something constantly because of a hit novel/movie will do for a name. From nowhere to #1.

And, of course, it also has a the wonderful meaning of "beauty."|||I absolutely adore the name Belle! I have it on my list as Lilja Belle. [Lilja is said as LEEL-ya. It can be said as Lil-ya but I much prefer the first pronounciation].
I think it sounds more elegant than Bella somehow.

I thought she was a female, but her Cere seems to be turning blueish.
She already kinda knows the name BlueBelle or Belle mostly.

Can someone tell me about the book matthew modine wrote about memphis belle?
I've seen it on amazon but there is no picture and there is no info or reviews about it. It states matthew modine as the author, so i wonder is it a book which accompanys the film?
I have the book written by monte merrick already and if the book by matthew modine is the book that goes with the film, i'd love to get it.

Does anyone know of a pattern that is similar to Belle's blue town dress from Beauty And The Beast?
I don't think anyone has actually made an official pattern for that dress. Dorothy from the wizard of oz is close, and so is Alice in wonderland, but neither one are just what I need.

Also, for makeup, I think very little makeup would be good or a very natural look. Maybe just rosy cheeks and you'd be set! I hope you get to be her! Good luck! :)|||i would say medium brow look up pictures of her and take it to a professional they should be able to help you with the make up and hair or look up vids. on youtube|||a brown kind of like the color of chocolate, for make up use a light pink blush and brown mascara. she has very light make up|||chestnut brown
