There is a movie called The Quiet with Camille Belle. It is based off of a book, but what is the book called?

The movie is about a girl who is deaf and mute (Camille Belle) who goes to live with her aunt, uncle, and cousin. Her cousin begins to tell secrets to her because she thinks she can't hear. She tells her that her dad is sexually abusing her and she plans to kill her dad. I heard the movie is awful but I still want to read the book.|||I don't see anything at amazon.com or imdb.com that would lead anyone to think there is abook associated with this film. Nothing by that title, the alternate title ("Dot"), and nothing by the film's credited writers, Abdi Nazemian %26amp; Micah Schraft. It seems like an interesting story, but the reviews were really mixed. Did you like it?
