That would be like naming twins Kate and Katie! Give them different names; they're individuals--not accessories. They don't have to match like shoes.

some that i have met like having matching names, while others (like me and my brother) really dislike matching names
Its just my opinion, but sometime twins can be prone to identity issues and often strive to assert their independence/uniqueness from their twin, others embrace it and wear matching clothes
i have never met twins (identical or fraternal) who have wished they were given matching names, but i have met more than a few who wished they hadn't|||While I think they are both beautiful names (no pun intended) the truth is they are the same name, just the french and italian versions of them, smae root word. Trust me, as they're growing up, you're gonna shout "BELLE!! DID YOU MAKE THIS MESS?!" and she'll think you're talking to Bella and ignore you and Bella might think you're talking to Belle and there you go,you'll get mad, its just not going to work. Take this from a kid whose last part of her name sounds remotely like her father's. Mixups all the time.
However, if you like them that much, then try finding another name that means beautiful that doesn't sound quite the same. I recommend 1001 baby names .com (google them) and then meaning search. for example,try finding other names that mean beautiful in languages that share no root (latin in this case) with the other.

The names are very very corney. Everyone will be laughing at you behind your back that you had to give your children such matchy names just because you think its "cute".
Im sorry, I dont mean to sound so mean its just this is something i feel strongly about. Twins should be treated as individuals not as two halfs of a whole. Let them grow up as two people.
They are both lovely names but not together, thats just cruel. Dont set them up for a life time of teasing- the identical twins with nearly identical names they will be teased for sure|||No offencee but honestly they are horrible. The names are wayyyyyyy to similiar

But, no, i know twins called Carla and Kristy and others called Kristen and Carlie and its just stupid to be called nearly exactly the same names.
