I'd really like to wear a costume of Belle's blue dress that she wears for most of the movie, but I cannot seem to find costumes of that dress. Anyone know why that is, and where I might be able to find one?|||Because her blue dress was too common amongst people and could be mistaken for just someone of that time
While the gold one was a special one that is not seen on many people and would better distinguish her as Belle from Disney's The Beauty and the Beast.
(i thought she looked better in the common clothes though)
as for the second question
It would probably be easier and cheaper just to make one,|||The yellow gown is the one she wore in the ballroom scene, and Disney wanted her toy crossovers to not clash with Jasmine's blue outfit.
