Has anyone been to Belle Epoque Brisbane recently?

I've heard some good reports and some not so good reports about Belle Epoque. I've just been told that there was a change in chefs too. Can anyone tell me what it is like? My wife and I want to go there to sample authentic French cuisine. We're going to France next month so we want to get an idea of what it would be like. Thanks very much.|||Yes I went tonight with a few friends and I would not recommend it. Poor, rude and arrogant service with waitstaff that have absolutely no product knowledge or customer service skills. The food was OK but the portions were very small. I did not notice a fine dining sign at the front.

But I guess that really is true french service. The only thing missing was a cigarette hanging from the waiters lips. You will totally understand when you are in France. Classless.

If you do want to experience a great meal and top service I would highly recommend Montrachet in Paddington. It serves typical, traditional, provincial french food and there is a great atmosphere. Quite hard to get a table. They have 2 seatings: 6 and 8.30pm. Open for lunch also. Closed on weekends.|||http://au.answers.yahoo.com/qu鈥?/a>
